Our Ambassador: Joël De Zorzi

amo-president Diplomatic Adviser, Director of International Activities at the «IHEDN». He has a degree in Economics, is a graduate of the Institute of Business Administration, and is a member of the 1979 class (Michel de l’Hospital) at the «ENA». He is a Minister Plenipotentiary 1st class. He occupied several positions in the Foreign Affairs Ministry’s General Secretariat and General Inspectorate before being appointed, in February 2008, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Stockholm, a position he left in 2011. Joël de Zorzi is a Knight in the French Legion of Honor and Officer of the Order of Merit. He is also an officer of the Republic of Germany’s Order of Merit.

The Association AMO – IHEDN

The AMO-IHEDN was formed in 2010, and is the result of the International Sessions on Asia and the Middle East (SIAMO). President: General (rtd) Alain Lamballe (advisor SIAMO), Vice-Presidents: Catherine Bouchet-Orphelin (AA and advisor SIAMO) & Sylvie Sahut d’Izarn (AAE, advisor SIAMO & FICA) General Secretary and Treasurer: Laurent Amelot (advisor SIAMO) Deputy General Secretary: Nicolas Boffo.

The First Ordinary Annual General Meeting of AMO – IHEDN was held on June 16, 2011 at the IHEDN – 21 Place Joffre, Paris 7e . The Annual Report and the Policy Report were approved unanimously. The General Assembly was an opportunity to hear about your expectations, and decide further activities for the coming year. Membership is free and it lets you keep in touch, and share your ideas.
